What I built.

The shop inventory to the fridge pipeline. Buy ingredients, they land in your inventory, and when you enter the food cart, they move into the fridge. They stack, they show counts, clicking takes one out, and the fridge remembers everything between visits.

I expanded the fridge from five slots to ten, added a close-up camera so players can actually see what they’re doing, built the shop UI with quantity selection and currency display, built the inventory, the main menu with reusable hover-pop buttons, the settings menu with working volume sliders, and smooth mouse-wheel camera zoom.

The save system is in progress: Continue loads the correct level, and applying saved player position is next.

Progression mechanic (my involvement).
I didn’t implement the dish → memory → level unlock system,
but I helped design the flow and logic behind it — how dishes should trigger memories, how those memories should unlock towns, and how that progression ties into the systems I built.

How I debug.
I walk the graph until I find the moment the logic fell apart. Fix one thing, test it, repeat. Shared logic goes into the Game Instance so everything reads from one source. Same idea as a bend sequence: the failure shows up at step four, but the mistake was at step two.

Next.
Match ingredient IDs between shop and dish system, gate shop items, add currencies and finish comments.
